Make sure the camera is clean and dry before closing the USB Cover. If water enters the USB port, wipe it and let it dry completely before closing.
To use the camera in or around water, dirt, or sand, make sure the USB Cover is fully closed so it doesn’t affect waterproofing. The orange indication mark should not be visible.
To charge the camera while recording, remove the USB Cover, or replace it with the All-Weather USB Charging Cover. In rainy conditions, use the All-Weather USB Charging Cover.
Don’t apply excessive force when installing or removing the cover, as this may damage the camera and the cover.
